The Summerville Firm
Hosting a design competition for their new brand identity in 2018, the Summerville Firm requested a logo which conveyed their methodology of studying the finite details of a case - scrupulously inspecting every piece of information at their disposal. Our proposed design, while it didn't win the overall contest, cleverly combined an eye motif drawn from a strict geometric grid with a magnifying glass tilted on its side. Unfortunately the client struggled to see those elements of our design, but we think it's a great concept and works in both its original and inverted formats, the latter of which uses an outline variation to maintain the iris structure of the motif.
