Rigour is an angler-inspired 'mystery tackle box' delivering a monthly drop of fishing gear to seasoned seafarers the world over.


Founder and previous client Joey Blackwell approached us with a brief for a minimal, bold but clearly fishing-tackle-related logo that could be used on the new Rigour website; a play on the word 'rigger' or 'rig', both of which are terms used to describe various pieces of angling apparatus and equipment, as well as to mean thorough and tough (rigorous). The design had to work on promotion and marketing collateral, branded merchandise and the monthly tackle box packaging itself, with the resulting icon and custom typography exceeding the client's expectations and garnering acclaim from those involved in the Rigour project.
