Based in Ellensburg, Washington, Jensen Hay Farms is a family owned and operated supplier of high quality feed and hay products established in 1941. In search of a fresh new look for their time-honoured brand, co-owner Adam Jensen hosted a branding contest in late 2018, for which we are proud to have been chosen as the winning creative team.

The brief called for a design which felt hand-crafted, refined and sophisticated while also bringing the look up to date with a clean, vector-based illustrative style. It was imperative that not only did the brand fit into an established market of equestrian clientele but also worked on an international stage, given Jensen Hay is distributed as far afield as China, Dubai and Japan. Our proposal was met with immediate acclaim for its rich, layered approach and elegant palette of deep greens and accents of ivory & gold. The design went through a number of revisions to fine-tune the overall look and feel, particularly swapping out the central motif for different focal points such as Timothy hay, the existing company logo and eventually a new monogram for the brand as they are colloquially known: JHF.
This clean new look now extends across the entire JHF brand, particularly in all printed and formal communication via our included collateral set, and soon to be added as a large-format decal to on-site machinery and farm vehicles.
