Laura Norman approached ink in early 2018 for support in founding her new business venture, but with little identity to go on required an entire brand inception from the ground-up. We helped Laura decide on a name for her company, Chroma Marketing, and developed a logo as a starting point for what would evolve into a wider brand identity and hugely successful marketing company over the next few years.
For the Chroma Marketing logo, a minimal 'C' motif drives the cyan logo throughout Chroma's identity, using bold colour blocks and high-contrast text to develop a cohesive look across all printed and branded material.
To mark the one-year anniversary of Chroma Marketing's inception, Laura requested a bespoke illustration to share with backers and clients in the form of a 'thank you' card. Built from an isometric base in Chroma's signature cyan blue, our illustration portrays a team of individuals working together to 'build' the Chroma logo. A whymsical reflection of Laura's clients and supporters to-date, we, Laura and her recipients all loved the illustration in print.
One year later, Laura requested a second design to thank backers for another year of support as her business grew from strength-to-strength! Similar to the first anniversary card, the second year's focal design plays with the Chroma Marketing icon but this time also features an illustrated character of Laura herself. Both years, the cards were printed onto recycled paper by our partnered print supplier.
We continue to support Chroma Marketing, more recently working with Laura on a series of social media banners to match their website design, which can be found @ChromaGB on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
