LBSU Freshers 2018
For the third year in a row, we were proud to work alongside Leeds Beckett University and Leeds Beckett Students' Union in the run up to Freshers 2018.
Collaborating with the marketing team within LBSU, we created a series of five short and snappy promo videos to reveal details of this year's events, lineup and festivities. The styling throughout was led by 2018's Freshers brand guidelines, utilising a synonymous colour gradient overlay and glitchy, high-impact typography. Background iconography is applied to further signify each of the details presented on-screen, ensuring consistent styling in line with the accompanying Freshers materail.
The five core videos were then adapted further for specialist scenarios, namely re-formatting the originally square frame to a 16:9 aspect ratio, as well as a much smaller web-banner version for the SU's Facebook page.
Our promotional set was met with high praise from the team at Leeds Beckett SU, and was used throughout the Freshers season across all company social media. We look forward to approaching the team again next year for Freshers 2019!
