Gonuts hosted a competition to design their new logo and brand identity, for a London-based boba and bubble tea cafe.


Our proposal took inspiration from Taiwanese and East Asian line art, blended with a soft palette of blue and pink reflective of Japanese Kawaii culture. The overall brand combines feelings of cuteness and modernist design into an aesthetic which is eye-catching and brave, unfortunately a little too much so for this client. Our proposal wasn't chosen as the eventual winner for Gonuts' new identity, but we really love the fun visuals and bold outcome regardless!
